A slew of fire and rescue crews were called to a southwest Queensland property after reports of a shed fire.

Queensland Fire and Rescue crews were called to a property on Whiskey Gully Rd, Severnlea, just outside Stanthorpe about 6.53pm on Tuesday.

It’s understood the shed was fully involved when crews arrived, with the fire fully extinguished just after 8pm.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics also attended the scene where they treated a male patient for minor injuries.

The man was later taken to Stanthorpe Hospital for further treatment.

A QFD spokesman said crews finished dampening down and had left the scene around 9pm.
