WARREGO Highway traffic is at a standstill following a multi-car pile-up involving a four-wheel-drive, caravan and several other vehicles.
Police say the crash was reported on the east-bound lanes near the Seminary Rd intersection about 7.45am.
The caravan was left flipped over and another vehicle was on its roof, however it is believed there are no life-threatening injuries to any of the eight people involved.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were still assessing the injured at the scene, with at least two patients already taken to Ipswich Hospital.
Police say there is a gas leak from the crashed caravan.
Traffic through the nearby township of Marburg is heavy and police are conducting traffic control at the scene.
