THE bicycle of missing Landsborough teenager, Michael Ryan, has been found but the search for the boy continues into its thirteenth day.

During day 12 of the extensive aerial and ground search for the missing 14-year-old, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said his bike was believed to have been located around the southern end of the Sunshine Coast last night.

Police have now started searching bush land in the Mooloolah Valley area with more than 20 Sunshine Coast State Emergency Service crew members there to help.

The search continued over the weekend as fears grew for the teen's welfare following his grandmother's plea to keep searching on Thursday.
