Woman in critical condition after being hit by garbage truck at Paddington intersection
A 31-year-old woman is fighting for her life after she was hit by a garbage truck in Brisbane’s inner-west.

Police are appealing for information after a 31-year-old woman suffered critical injuries after she was hit by garbage truck at Paddington, in Brisbane’s inner west this morning.
The woman was walking across Elizabeth St just before 9am when she was hit by the truck turning right from Nash St.
She sustained significant pelvic and lower limb injuries and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for any witnesses, or for dashcam footage from the area at the time.
In a separate incident two stable patients were taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital and a stable patient was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital after a two-vehicle and bicycle accident on Tarragindi Rd in Tarragindi about 8.25am.
