Motorcyclist dies in new year’s eve tragedy
Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash involving a motorbike and car south of Brisbane.

Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorbike and car in Woongoolba, south of Brisbane, on Friday night.
Preliminary information suggests the motorbike was travelling along Mill Rd when it collided with a sedan about 9.40pm.
The motorbike rider, a 22-year-old man from Pimpama, suffered significant injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 20-year-old male driver of the sedan did not sustain any physical injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
