A widely beloved expectant mother and her unborn child have been identified as the victims of a heartbreaking single-vehicle accident on a rural Queensland road.
Former Ingham woman Meggen Jade, also known as Meg Priest, and Carter Jacob George Shadforth (Priest) died in the tragic accident on an isolated rural property on Lincoln Springs Road in Greenvale, North Queensland, on May 28.
The devastated family have invited family and friends to a celebration of life for Meggen, most recently of Lincoln Springs Station, and Carter at the Sugar Reef Baptist Church in Ingham later this month.
“A beautiful girl and little baby who were taken far too soon,” a friend wrote on a social-media post.
“RIP Meg and Carter.”
The family has been contacted for comment.
