A 54-year-old man has died after a traffic crash in Mt Hallen.
Police said that a approximately 5am, a white Mazda B2600 utility was travelling north along Gatton Esk Road near Edinburgh Drive when it left the road and struck a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a Toogoolawah man, died at the scene.
At the time of the crash, the road was blocked and local diversions were in place.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing to determine the circumstances leading up to the death.
Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling between Edinburgh Drive and the township of Esk between 4:30am and 5am to contact them.
