Fire tears through Logan home

Firefighters are battling to extinguish a blaze which tore through a Logan home Sunday afternoon.

Four fire crews arrived at the property, on the corner of McEwan and Parliament streets, Bethania, shortly before 2pm, but not before the building was entirely engulfed by flames.

Firefighters had successfully prevented any damage to adjacent buildings and were working on the fire inside the home.
It is understood the homeowners were not present at the time of the incident and no one was injured.
Police have attended the scene, although investigators from the Queensland Fire Department have yet to commence enquiries into the cause of the fire.
