Australia's vaccine rollout delays: what happened?

Two southeast Queensland men are confirmed to have locally acquired COVID-19.

On Friday it was revealed a Stafford man had contracted the virus, while on Saturday testing showed a close contact of that man, a man from Strathpine, was also positive.

The Strathpine man had a house party between being instructed to isolate and getting his positive test results. The event has led to 25 people being placed in quarantine.

WHERE CAN I GET TEST?

Brisbane has many established fever clinics, some of which you can book an appointment with online.

A drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic will be set-up at South Pine Sports Complex after the 26-year-old Stafford man visited the Moreton Bay region while contagious.

The man visited Mamma’s Italian Restaurant at Redcliffe Pde on March 21 while hundreds of people were out at the markets, held on the same street at the restaurant.

The clinic will open at 9am tomorrow. Those needing tests are asked not to leave their cars.

Anyone attending the complex for a sporting event is asked to enter via Leitchs Rd. Entry for the testing clinic will be off Cribb Rd.
