IN what’s surely an early Christmas present for investor John Singleton, this column has learnt his ex-wife Julie might be working on a name change.

Singleton recently told this column “women should go back to their maiden names after the marriage ends” and last week we learnt his ex-wife Julie Singleton, the mother of three of his daughters, might one day soon be known as Julie Christianakis — or perhaps Julie Singleton-Christianakis, just to tick Singo off.

Julie has been seeing wealthy Zimbabwean-born fund manager Leon Christianakis who is quite the catch financially and happens to be a keen yachtie, news that suggests a matchmaking role played by one of Julie’s other ex- boyfriends, multi-multi-millionaire Neville Crichton.

As to whether the couple are yet engaged and also whispers Nic Cerrone has designed a massive diamond ring, we — and Singo — will just have to wait and see.
