Amanda asks

I have severe ulcerative colitis and resigned from my fulltime job in July 2015. I was approved income protection through my super that goes month to month. There is no cure for my disease and I am not responding to medication. My specialist ignores me every time I bring up TPD claim. What can I do if my specialist continues to ignore me? My GP would be happy to complete forms but said my specialist needs to as well.

brydens Answer

In the event a treating specialist will not complete the forms we can arrange for you to undergo medico legal assessment for that purpose. We have a specialised super and TPD division.
