Video has emerged of a wild brawl which took place in the middle of an intersection outside Parramatta Westfield.
Police are investigating the lunchtime fight, which occurred on Tuesday, as well as other brawls which also occurred in Sydney’s west on the same day.
A spokesman said police would not confirm if the fights were connected.
In the video obtained by 7 News, pedestrians are seen watching as the large group of men fight in the middle of the intersection.
Shocked onlookers can be heard commented on the video that one of the men appeared to be carrying a knife.
“That one’s got a knife,” a woman can be heard saying.
“Yeah look … he’s got a knife in his hand,” another person says.
Eventually some of the men retreat into their car and drive off.
Police said at least one person was questioned over the brawl on Wednesday and more people were being spoken to, with charged expected to be laid over the incident.
