Kangaroos at Kingswood Train Station

Two kangaroos had a close call when they decided to hop onto train tracks at Kingswood Station in western Sydney, forcing a railway worker to quickly intervene.

Footage shows the eagle-eyed Sydney Trains employee tidying the platform before noticing the plucky pair jumping all over the tracks – right into the path of an oncoming train.

Whipping out his phone, the staff member warned the train driver to slow down, allowing the marsupials to hop away without incident.

Sydney Trains said the employee also organised to stop traffic until the kangaroos were safely away from the vicinity.
