Police have launched an investigation into a wild road-rage brawl that erupted in Sydney’s inner-west yesterday.
It is understood that the fight erupted at the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Homer Street in Earlwood yesterday afternoon.
Brutal footage shows two male drivers exchanging blows at the busy intersection while horrified onlookers beep their horns.
One of the men, understood to be a freight truck driver, can be seen raining blows on a shirtless man, and is only stopped when a bystander physically restrains him.
The truck driver returns to his vehicle before the other man, believed to be the driver of a ute, angrily approaches the truck window.
The two men exchange heated words before the conflict appears to end.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said that police from Burwood Police Area Command have been made aware of the video and are investigating the incident.
It is not yet known what sparked the shocking brawl.
The driver’s freight company has been approached for comment.
