Vandal scratches the word ‘SL*T’ into Hollie Nasser’s car

It appears Hollie Nasser’s car has been vandalised, with the word ‘SL*T’ scratched into the duco. The crime has come to light following her separation from her pub-investor husband Chris. There is no suggestion Mr Nasser was involved.

A photograph purporting to be of the vandalised passenger door of Hollie Nasser’s car has come to light following her separation from her pub-investor husband Chris Nasser.

This follows revelations — revealed here last week — that Hollie has begun a new relationship with newly separated funds manager Charlie Aitken.

In the photograph, the word “slut” can be plainly seen etched crudely into the black duco of the vehicle. Inside the car a toddler’s pink backpack can be seen.

Following our report last week confirming the tandem marriage breakdowns of prominent Sydney society couples Charlie and Ellie Aitken and the Nassers, until recently close friends, a Sydney court has granted a domestic AVO on Hollie’s behalf against her newly estranged husband.

The AVO was issued on November 16 — three days after pub scion Christopher-John “CJ” Nasser stepped down from the board of his friend Charlie Aitken’s investment company Aitken Investment Management into which Nasser tipped millions as a founding investor. Chris Nasser has said he would vigorously defend the application and absolutely denied the claims. This column does not suggest the damage to Hollie Nasser’s car is related to the AVO matter which returns to court on December 15.

Neither the Nassers nor the Aitkens were returning calls on Friday.

It was the breakdown of the Nassers’ seemingly picture-perfect marriage that was enthralling the well-heeled folk of Sydney’s eastern suburbs last week.

The collapse of a five-year marriage is, it would seem, infinitely more fascinating than the breakdown of a 20-year marriage like the Aitkens’, despite the fact the couple had courted the limelight assiduously following the launch of their own investment business in 2015.

This column was last week informed the Nassers separated on November 13. This contradicts earlier sources who claimed the couple in fact separated the first week of November, when Hollie Nasser, 36, quit the family home in Paddington with her two young children, aged four and two.

Chris Nasser confirmed the breakdown of his marriage to this column last Saturday.

It coincided with Charlie Aitken confirming — on the same day — the breakdown of his marriage to Ellie, the mother of his two young children, and his new relationship with Hollie Nasser.

The marriage of the Aitkens is understood to have been in trouble for a while.

Barely single for a fortnight, Ellie Aitken put on a good show last week as she pulled on a party dress, dusted herself off and returned to Sydney’s party scene with a sequined and glamorous appearance at Moet & Chandon’s Effervescence party on the lawn adjacent the Opera House on Wednesday night.

Aitken, who posted the event to social media, rubbed shoulders with the likes of newly single actor Simon Baker, Ian Thorpe and designer Blainey North at the event.

In a city where gossip never stops, it surprised few to learn Aitken has already been linked to new suitor — her new property developer boss, ladies man and affirmed bachelor Charles Mellick.
