Two alleged drug dealers have faced court together after their arrest during a cocaine crackdown in Sydney's affluent eastern suburbs last month.

Alicia Webster, 24, and Christopher Massih, 19, appeared on Wednesday in Waverley Local Court after being charged with supplying prohibited drugs in Bondi on December 7.

Police stopped the pair’s Subaru Liberty and allegedly found $1855 cash and more than five grams of cocaine during the sting, which saw 84 people arrested over six days.

Webster and her passenger Massih were taken to Kings Cross police station, where they were charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug and dealing with the property proceeds of crime.

Their case was briefly mentioned on Wednesday in court where it was adjourned until February 5 so they could seek further legal advice.

NSW Police Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Bell previously said investigators charged 84 people during the operation.

“So many people continue to put their lives and the lives of others at risk by supplying prohibited drugs,” Chief Insp Bell said.

“Officers were astounded by how brazen some of these alleged drug transactions have become, often taking place in highly-visible and crowded locations in Sydney’s CBD and surrounding suburbs.

“This operation once again shows that cocaine supply and possession is not limited to one specific group of people, with several individuals from well-regarded professions in the community among those now before the courts.”

Police arrested more than 40 alleged dealers whose occupations included a taxi driver, a pregnant mum and a member of the air force.

Forty-six of those netted were alleged dealers and police seized 350g of cocaine.

Chief Insp Bell said detectives would also target bigger players higher up the chain who were supplying the street-level dealers arrested in the operation.

“This operation will continue … and we will look at investigating matters higher up the criminal network and, as we have in the past, charge them with supply,” he said.
