REOL's auction success

A REAL treat became a “REOL” success at Robina on January 25.

A REAL treat became a “REOL” success at Robina on January 25.

REOL property consultants’ inaugural in-room auction at Grand Motors Mercedes-Benz (GMMB) Showroom saw 25 prestige properties go under the hammer with seven properties selling and a further four entering negotiation.

REOL founder and managing director Michael Mahon said the teams from his three offices joined forces with the live music of Adrian Stuckey to greet and entertain 220 guests who arrived on the red carpet.

“I was delighted with the results, particularly considering the shorter concentrated marketing campaign leading up to the auction,” Mr Mahon said.

“The feedback from buyers and sellers was that The REOL Experience was the best in-room auction event they had experienced in an amazing venue and the highest standard of presentation they had seen from auctions on the Gold Coast.”

All properties presented at the auction were featured on the evening in individual videos shot and edited in HD by REOL TV.

Mr Mahon said REOL was setting a new standard for in-room auctions in Queensland, if not Australia.

“And the partnership with GMMB in hosting the event ensured that REOL had a quality venue in which to showcase its finest properties,” he said.

GMMB marketing manager Rebecca Steindl said Grand Motors was delighted host the REOL Experience auction in their Mercedes-Benz dealership.

“The collaboration between Grand Motors Prestige and REOL for the in-house auction event was a great opportunity to profile the success and growth which both our businesses have experienced in the Gold Coast marketplace,” Ms Steindl said.
