IT’S the ultimate in luxury beachside living, located in one of the most iconic beachfront locations on the Southern Gold Coast, and it just sold for more than $1 million.

The Bilinga beach home, located on Pacific Parade, was sold to a private investor for the sum of $1.1 million, and according to David Stringer, principal of DJ Stringer Property Services, it was just the beginning of a rising sales trend in the $1 million property bracket.

“We are currently experiencing a dramatic rise in interest from those looking to invest in higher-end product across the Tweed and Southern Gold Coast region,” Mr Stringer said.

“The quick sale of this property is a strong indication that astute investors are looking for future opportunities now, taking advantage of the market before it fully recovers.”

The home boasts four large bedrooms, four balconies, open-plan living space, a four-car garage, a second-floor private plunge pool and a private lift.

Mr Stringer said there had been a downturn of new development applications for apartment and townhouse projects across the southern Gold Coast and northern New South Wales, and that more expensive property would become more in demand.

“Over the next 18 months, the market is predicted to recover, with waterfront and beachfront property set to recover at a faster rate,” Mr Stringer said.
