AN award-winning eco-sustainable architect will provide in-house consultancy for the $750 million Seaside development between Casuarina and Salt.

Architect Kerry Hollyoak helped Seaside earn the title of NSW’s only community with an EnviroDevelopment rating for leading work in sustainability, and won numerous awards for sister project Seaspray in Zilzie.

Seaside director of marketing Zelma Creswick said architectural consultation by Ms Hollyoak would help buyers reach the stage where they are ready to draft formal plans for their home.

“A full architectural design and documentation service is also provided by the Seaside Living design team,” Ms Creswick said.

“Seaside provides a great canvas for innovative eco-sustainable architecture. It is located close to the beach, and is surrounded by parks, pristine landscaping and natural bushland.”

The development could eventually have up to 2000 residents, with the majority of homes architect-designed.

“Our aim is to have Seaside develop a reputation for innovative and unique architectural design,” Ms Creswick said.

“For those who are time-poor or not as keen to go through the design process, house and land packages are available featuring a choice of five exquisite architect-designed homes which have been created exclusively for Seaside’s creek-side precinct.”

A number of Seaside Living house and land packages are available starting from $535,000, with home sites rising from $335,000.

The resort strip will feature retail outlets, tourist accommodation, homes and apartments.

Construction is due to begin shortly on the first new homes.
