COTTON beach is in high demand with three sales in three days totalling more than $1.8 million.

The beachfront project, developed by Brookfield Multiplex Residential, continues to draw attention as the coastal strip rides a wave of new development.

Brookfield Multiplex Residential sales and marketing director Philip Leahy said the Tweed Coast was more appealing than ever to buyers from all walks of life, with the three consecutive sales last week a prime example.

“The buyer mix included a retired couple from the Tallebudgera Valley looking for a holiday home, a Brisbane couple buying a holiday home-investment to enjoy with their children, and a couple from the local area buying a new apartment to own and occupy,” Mr Leahy said.

“We are expecting to sell out of apartments in Cotton Beach over the summer holiday season and, with only a limited number now remaining, purchasers are realising now is the time to secure their place in the project.”

Mr Leahy said Cotton Beach appealed to those wanting a relaxed beachside abode, with facilities and services in easy reach.

“The imminent start of construction on the long-awaited Casuarina Village, which will include a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, shops and community facilities, has been a catalyst for purchasers to act,” Mr Leahy said.

“We are also expecting the Banora Point upgrade, now under way, to attract new interest in the area from the Gold Coast and Brisbane, as was the case with the Tugun Bypass.”

Mr Leahy said the latest sales had pushed total sales at Cotton Beach to more than $69 million.
