SHOPS and showrooms which earn a total of nearly half-a-million in rent each year are up for sale in Tweed Heads and Coolangatta as their owner tries to raise cash to help fund international business interests.

The Gold Coast-based C and P Properties Group is trying to sell four tenanted commercial properties to fund its overseas business ventures.

The properties at Currumbin, Coolangatta and Tweed Heads are for sale by tender through Darren Jones of Ray White Commercial Burleigh who said they collectively earn annual rental of almost $500,000.

Mr Jones said two had international and national businesses as tenants.

“The owner is looking to cash out to help fund international business interests,” he said.

“All of these properties offer a highly attractive investment opportunity.”

Mr Jones said the largest of the properties is a commercial building on approximately 5016 square metres of fully fenced industrial land in Traders Way, Currumbin.

The Tweed Heads property for sale is a showroom in Ourimbah Rd.

“This property also has a solid tenant in place and is earning annual net income of $36,078,” Mr Jones said.

Mr Jones said long-term tenants, a successful day spa and a cafe, were in place at a Coolangatta shop which is among those being offered for sale.

The property in Marine Parade was earning net annual income of $120,000.

“The shops has a total floor area of about 140 square metres and tenant that include McDonalds, Coffee Club and Rip Curl,” Mr Jones said.

The Tweed Heads property for sale is a showroom in Ourimbah Rd.

Tenders for the four properties close at 4 pm on November 12.
