Woman to face Tweed Court over an alleged kidnapping and assault plot
A joint investigation by NSW and Queensland police led to the arrest of a 49-year-old woman who was due to face court for allegedly trying to solicit a kidnap.

A 49-year-old woman has been charged over an alleged plot to kidnap and assault a man known to her on the North Coast.
Detectives attached to Tweed Byron Police District established Strike Force Corks in August to investigate allegations the woman was trying to solicit the kidnap and assault of a 52-year-old man.
NSW police officers worked with Queensland police officers to investigate the alleged plot.
After extensive investigations, detectives went to a Pottsville home about 4pm on Thursday.
A 49-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.
She has been charged with threatening injury to a person with intent to commit indictable offence and recruiting another person to assist in carrying out criminal activity.
She was refused bail to face Tweed Heads Local Court on Friday.
Investigations under Strike Force Corks are continuing.
