Police arrested Nisbet on Minjungbal Dr soon after. It’s alleged he was pursued by members of the public, including two off-duty Queensland police officers.

It’s alleged Nisbet was arrested as he attempted to enter a red Hyundai i30 hatchback with a Queensland number plate which contained the stolen jewellery and cash.

Police said the red Hyundai, believed to be driven by a woman, was last seen heading west along Machinery Dr.
