A 43-year-old Brisbane man has been brought into NSW to face aggravated stealing charges after an alleged attack on a homeless man in Tweed Heads four years ago.

A Brisbane man has been brought into NSW and charged after he allegedly attacked and stole from a homeless person four years ago.
The 43-year-old from Spring Hill was wanted for an aggravated stealing offence allegedly committed on June 18, 2018 at Alf Rush Memorial Dr, Tweed Heads South.
It is alleged the man punched a homeless man in the jaw, causing the victim lose consciousness, before stealing his Holden Commodore.
On May 28 this year Queensland police arrested the man and executed a warrant.
He faced Southport Court on Monday and was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station where he declined to be interviewed.
He was charged and remanded in custody and is next expected to appear in Tweed Heads Local Court on June 6.
