Three held after man stabbed to death near Parramatta train station
A MAN is dead and three others are in custody after a stabbing near Parramatta Train Station in Sydney’s west.
A MAN has died after being stabbed outside a train station in Sydney’s west.
The man in his 20’s was stabbed after an altercation between two groups of people near Parramatta Train Station about 5am on Saturday.
Police say the man was treated at the scene on Fitzwilliam St before he was rushed to Westmead Hospital, where he died.
Three people were arrested on nearby Hassall St and taken to Parramatta Police Station questioning.
No charges have been laid.
Police say they were called to a Parramatta street about 5.05am on Saturday after a young man was found with a serious stab wound.
The injured man, who is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in his twenties, was taken to Westmead Hospital where he later died.
Police say three men were arrested in a nearby street and taken to Parramatta Police Station.
