Sydneysiders are being told to make the most of Wednesday afternoon blue skies and sunshine as the Bureau of Meteorology predicts not only a weekend of wet weather, but showers every day until the end of the month.
Just when Sydneysiders thought the rainy days had come to a halt, the BoM anticipates showers in the city for the rest of April.
The BoM has predicted up to 15mm of rain will fall on Thursday and winds will reach up to 35km/h, kicking off a wet and cloudy end to the month.
Following the severe thunderstorm and wild winds from the west which lashed large parts of NSW on Tuesday night, Sydney residents and visitors enjoyed one last morning of clear skies on Wednesday.
The forecasted wet weather for the remainder of April could continue to create problems for community sporting organisations and events, as some clubs are still yet to play their first round of sport, following ground closures and cancellations due to rain and flooding over previous weekends.
Dry and mostly sunny conditions across #NSW today, with light showers returning to parts of the coast tomorrow and continuing into next week for some places.

The news comes as Australia braces for a wet winter on the back of record-breaking rain over summer.
Meteorologists have warned of the potential of a negative Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD), a climate system responsible for driving higher than average rainfall, which could hit the West Coast this winter.
