THE jihadi ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ terror teens potentially facing life in prison were today refused bail after fresh charges were laid against them relating to the planning of a terrorist attack.

Sameh Bayda, 19, and Alo-Bridget Namoa, 19, did not appear before court via video link from their respective jails to face charges of conspiracy to do an act, or acts in preparation for, or planning, a terrorist act or acts.

The NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team announced early this morning they would be adding to the charges against the pair, who were arrested last year, with new information filed in court alleging Bayda instructed Namoa to delete all messages from her mobile phone to hinder the discovery of their alleged planned attack by police.

Bayda, who is locked up at Goulburn Supermax, faced Parramatta Local Court on January 26, 2016 on terror charges with police alleging he collected three terror-related documents, two in Arabic and a third in English, produced by al-Qaeda, which allegedly provided detailed instructions on how to inflict a mortal injury.

According to documents put before the court, one of the Arabic documents allegedly provided “instructions on how to carry out a successful stabbing attack” while the other “provided instructions on how to make an improved explosive”.

The charge sheet stated the third document was an “image of how to carry out a stabbing and make a bomb”.

Namoa, who is currently at Silverwater Correctional Facility, was arrested on February 23, 2016 at a relative’s home in Guildford about 10.30am by a team of counter-terrorism police.

She was charged with recklessly possessing an item connected to a terrorist act and recklessly collecting documents connected to a terrorist act.

Speaking outside court their lawyer said he had not had a chance to talk to his clients or view all the evidence presented to the court.

It was previously alleged Namoa told her husband “I want to do an Islamic Bonnie and Clyde” on unbelievers “ASAP”.

The new charges levelled against the pair today carry a life sentence if convicted and they are due to reappear in court on March 15.
