Supporters of an accused drug dealer caught with 145 MDMA capsules at the weekend’s deadly rave party looked anything but sorry outside court on Monday.

Their friend Jonathan Carey-Spence, 25, did not apply for bail during a swift hearing at Burwood Local Court — his lawyers needed more time to consider his legal position, so the matter was adjourned to Friday.

On top of the MDMA dealing and possession charges from the weekend’s Knockout Games of Destiny dance festival, Carey-Spence is facing further drugs matters in the District Court.

A weekend court hearing just hours after his arrest heard the bags of MDMA, totalling 23 grams, were spilling from his pants when police searched him at around 5pm Saturday.
