Man dead, six injured after multi-vehicle crash on Princes Highway, Waterfall
A multi-vehicle smash which saw a man killed, six people hospitalised and a car plunge through a fence near train tracks has added to trains chaos, with a section of the Princes Highway closed, and buses replacing trains on the South Coast Line.

One man has died and six people have been hospitalised after a three-vehicle crash on a highway south of Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway in Waterfall, after reports of a three-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes at 6.10am on Friday.
One of the three vehicles – a Mitsubishi Outlander – smashed through a fence and landed near the railway tracks.
Emergecny services helped the Outlander driver, who is believed to be in his 60s, however he died at the scene.
A statement from NSW Police says there was no one else travelling in the Outlander.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman told The Daily Telegraph seven people were caught up in the incident.
Six of them have been rushed to three different hospitals — Liverpool, St George and Wollongong — with one patient taken by helicopter.
Sutherland police are at the site, along with Fire and Rescue NSW who are trying to remove the car near the tracks.
Transport for NSW has reported there are no train services running on the South Coast Line between Bomaderry and Bondi Junction. Instead four buses are helping to move passengers. Three buses are running between Wollongong and Kiama and one is running between Kiama and Bomaderry.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or were travelling in the area at the time of the incident and may have dashcam footage to come forward.
Road closures between Heathcote Rd and McKell Ave at Waterfall were in place but have now been lifted.
Southbound traffic had been diverted into Heathcote Rd towards the M5 Motorway, Hume Motorway and Picton Rd for access to Wollongong.
