EXECUTED Rebels bikie Mark Easter enjoyed an intimate meal with his partner Biancha Simpson then left hours later, never to be seen alive again. Three days later, his bullet-riddled body was found dumped in a lonely spot near the Pacific Highway.

Police today revealed they are looking for the owner of a white van they believe may have been used to transport Easter’s body before it was dumped in bushland.

Easter, who was sergeant-at-arms of the Rebels city chapter, was found on June 26 last year at Cowan on the Hawkesbury River.

“The last known sighting of Mark was at his home in Little Bay about 8.40pm on Tuesday June 23 last year,’’ a police spokesman said yesterday.

“His family reported him missing three days earlier. We believe Mr Easter was shot elsewhere before his body was dumped at Cowan.’’

The move follows The Daily Telegraph’s exclusive report yesterday into the police crackdown on illegal bikie gangs across NSW.

New anti-consorting laws and intensive investigations by the NSW Police’s Gangs Squad have weakened the gangs and sparked internal divisions as they see millions of dollars wiped from their proceeds of crime.

The vehicle was seen in the Berowra area not far from where Easter’s body was found some hours later.

Easter, 37, was a close associate of Rebels Windsor chapter president John Weston, who was charged last year with the murder of Summernats and MotorEx judge Laurie Starling at his Central Coast car restoration business.
