Raptor cops charge ex-Finks bikie after crocodile seized
A former Finks outlaw motorcycle gang member has been charged over the alleged possession of an unlicensed crocodile and stolen property in Sydney’s west.
Police in western Sydney have arrested a former bikie for the alleged possession of an unlicensed crocodile.
Strike Force Raptor searched a home in Colebee in February where they found a freshwater crocodile.
Police took the reptile as the owner, a 24-year-old man, did not hold the correct Wildlife Exhibitors Licence.
Officers also found a Mercedes Benz, two motorbikes, a jet ski and trailer at the property — all believed to be stolen.
These items have undergone forensic examination.
Following a month-long investigation, police arrested the man at the Colebee home on Friday at 11.15am.
He was then taken to Riverstone Police Station where he was charged with dealing in protected animals, four counts of dealing with property suspected of being proceeds of crime and two counts of possessing a motor vehicle where the unique identifier had been interfered with.
The former Finks OMCG member was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Blacktown Local Court on April 29.
