Police hunting group after cigarette, cash thefts in Sydney’s east
Police are searching for up to four people believed to be behind multiple cigarette and cash thefts at convenience stores, newsagents and supermarkets across the eastern suburbs.

Police are hoping to identify a man and woman who are allegedly involved in a string of shop thefts in the eastern suburbs.
Several convenience stores, newsagents, tobacconists and supermarkets across Turrella, Mascot, Earlwood and the eastern suburbs have had cigarettes and cash stolen between February 19 and March 15.
Police suspect a group of up to four people may be involved and are looking to identify a man and a woman following the thefts.
Photos of the pair have been released to the public and police urge anyone with information to come forward. The man is depicted as being of caucasian appearance, about 170-180cm tall, aged in his 30s, with a solid build and a bald head.
The woman is described as being of caucasian appearance, 160-170cm tall with a slim build, aged between 20-25 and with long brown hair.
