HOMICIDE detectives have charged two more men over the botched 2015 plot to kill former Rebels bikie Ricky Ciano during a faked pizza delivery.
Ciano was found dead in his luxury BMW near Oberon in the state’s central west on Valentine’s Day 2017, and Homicide Squad detectives are running a separate investigation into his murder.
Ciano had left the Rebels when police allege there was knock at his door from his would-be killer posing as a pizza delivery man in August 2015. Ciano refused to open the door and the plan failed.
Another accused with alleged links to the Rebels, Abuzar Sultani, 29, has already been charged with conspiring to murder Ciano and was allegedly going to make $500,000 from the pizza delivery hit.

On Tuesday, homicide detectives arrested Joshua Baines, 25, and Siar Munshizada, 29, in separate correctional centres in Newcastle and Goulburn and charged both with conspire and agree to murder.
They were denied bail in court on Tuesday, with their cases adjourned to June 7.
The arrests come more than two years after the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor commenced an investigation into the activities of the Burwood Chapter of the Rebels and their associates.
BIKIE TOLL RISES AS CARNAGE CONTINUES
With the help of the Homicide Squad, more than 20 people have been charged and put before the courts.
Homicide Squad Commander, Detective Superintendent Scott Cook, said his officers would continue to put pressure on the infamous Burwood chapter.
“The Homicide Squad is working side-by-side with Strike Force Raptor and pursuing a number of lines of inquiry relating to the chapter’s activities,” Det Supt Cook said.
“This includes a strong focus on the links between groups, as well as those who associate with – and between – the groups.”
Det Supt Cook said a separate strike force was still investigating Ciano’s death.
“Strike Force Kiaka was established after Mr Ciano’s body was located in his car at Oberon on Valentine’s Day in 2017,” Det Supt Cook said.
“We are continuing to piece together his movements over the weekend, but based on the information we have gathered, the conspiracy is not related to his death.”
