Police are on the hunt for clues after a 21-year-old man was shot in the legs near Bankstown overnight.
The man, aged 21, stumbled into Bankstown Hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs at around 9.45pm. He attended the hospital with a middle-aged woman.
The victim is allegedly not talking to police. A vehicle has been located and seized for forensic examination on Jacob Street, Bankstown, and a crime scene established. As detectives continue their investigation, anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area surrounding Bankstown Hospital or Jacob Street, are urged to contact Bankstown Police Station.

Four people have used a stolen car to smash through a shop in Dubbo and steal a cash register and cigarettes.
The alleged robbers ran away from the scene before police arrived at the store.

At 6:15pm last night police were called after a motorcycle crash in Mandalong, Lake Macquarie.
The man believed to be in his 30s was travelling south when his bike left the road and crashed into trees.
