The men threatened employees but no one was injured.

A 22-year-old man was arrested after attempting to flee a property that police were searching.

Later they arrested two men aged 32 and 35 from the same property.

They were charged with multiple offences including armed robbery.

Police say three men armed with knives and a firearm robbed a business in Berkeley in the Lake Illawarra region yesterday.

The men threatened employees but no one was injured.

A 22-year-old man was arrested after attempting to flee a property that police were searching.

ASX to take third hit

The ASX is set to take a hit for a third day in a row as global coronavirus fears tank the stock market.

Local stocks lost $37.8 billion in value on Tuesday in the Australian share market’s second worst day of 2020, following Monday’s 2.25 per cent plunge.

It comes after Wall Street stocks sank deeper into the red Tuesday afternoon on mounting fears over the coronavirus and its potential to derail global growth.

Sydney teen charged with Omar Elomar murder

A teenager last week charged with protecting the identity of Omar Elomar’s killer has now been charged with murder.

The Campbelltown man, 18, was arrested last Wednesday at a Cartwright home where police allegedly seized a car, clothing and phone allegedly linked to the murder investigation.

He was arrested by police again overnight and charged with murder. He will appear at Central Local Court today.
