A new tipple tickling palates in London, New York and Los Angeles is now giving Sydney sippers an alcohol-free option without any loss of flavour.

Seedlip is a distilled non-alcoholic spirit with all the flavour of gin but without the intoxicating qualities.

Launched in Britain in 2015, the drink has just made its way here.

“It’s a satisfying equivalent option for people who do drink, but on that night aren’t,” creator Ben Branson said.

He said it was best served with tonic water or used as a cocktail base, such as the nogroni — an alcohol-free negroni.

Concord student Bronte Pendergast, 19, is a fan of CBD bar The Baxter Inn’s nogroni.

“Cocktails are my go-to drink, I’d definitely choose this over water,” Ms Pendergast said.
