Muck-up day videos from exclusive north shore school

Students from an exclusive north shore private school have been caught doing stupid dares for another controversial muck-up day scavenger hunt.

Girls from North Sydney independent Catholic school Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College filmed themselves completing similar challenges to those in a depraved scavenger hunt instruction manual circulated between boys at Shore School.

The Monte Sant’ Angelo students recorded themselves drinking a 700ml bottle of vodka, doing “shoeys” — drinking out of old shoes — shaving slits in their eyebrows and trespassing.

These were some of the milder challenges listed in Shore School’s “Triwizard Shorenament” manifesto.

The videos are used as proof to claim points for completing the tasks. The Monte Sant’ Angelo students also filmed themselves in the CBD licking car tyres, kissing strangers, drinking mouthwash and jumping into a World War I commemorative fountain.

However, there is no suggestion the Monte Sant’ Angelo students carried out any of the more revolting challenges from the “Triwizard Shorenament” such as spitting on homeless people or hitting strangers in the genitalia.

The videos were posted to social media platform TikTok with the hashtags “scavhunt” and “classof2020”.

Plans for similar scavenger hunts have reportedly been found in the possession of students at St Aloysius’ College and Pymble Ladies’ College.

Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College said it took “this sort of behaviour very seriously” and would “make inquiries” about the videos.
