The prestigious Shore school has responded to public outcry via a crisis management PR firm after end of Year 12 festivities urged students to spit on homeless people, assault strangers and kiss underage girls.

The list of pranks for students of the $34,000-a-year Sydney Church of England Grammar School was part of a scavenger hunt, with tasks including “run it straight with a random and deck them” and “spit on homeless man” as well as urging students to smoke a cone of cannabis on the harbour bridge.

They were contained in a document entitled the “Triwizard Shorenament” which would see students meet in Waverton Park tonight before breaking off into smaller groups to complete challenges, Nine Newspapers reported.

Student teams of five or six students were required to drink a carton of beer in 15 minutes before heading out to complete the tasks.

Other proposed dares included breaking into Taronga Zoo, defecating on a train while another encouraged them to hit passing men on the genitalia while they were walking past.

It also said students would get points for having sex with a woman over 80kg or an unattractive women rated as a ‘3/10 or lower’.

Another challenge included kissing a girl under 15 years of age along with an “Asian chick”.

In response, homeless organisation Sydney’s 24-7 Street Kitchen and Safe Space Community urged vulnerable people to beware of private school children.

“Those attending Martin Place please make homeless aware,” it said.

“And yes, do watch out for this lot yourself.”

Headmaster Dr Timothy Petterson said he condemned the proposed activities.

The school responded to media inquiries on Wednesday morning via crisis management firm Sefiani.

The firm which offers “fast-paced crisis and issues response” issued a statement from headmaster Dr Timothy Petterson, who said any student caught participating in the proposed activities tonight risked losing their spot at the school.

“Shore unequivocally condemns the activities detailed in the proposed scavenger hunt document that has circulated in recent days,” he said.

“The document appears to be the work of a small number of boys who are not representative of our wider Year 12 group.

“The activities are unlawful, harmful and disrespectful of the public and have appalled our school community.

“The activities do not reflect Shore’s values or what the school stands for. Shore has already communicated to parents in the strongest possible terms that boys are not to take part in the activities. Any boy who does participate risks losing their place at Shore.”

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said while she was aware of reports of the Shore muck-up day plans, she hoped the vast majority of Year 12 students were doing the right thing.

“I’ve just heard those reports secondhand and I really hope it’s not the case,” she said.

“We’ve worked really hard to support the class of 2020, and I know from the interactions I’ve had with students in the class of 2020 how committed they are to getting through these studies, but also how much of a struggle it’s been, and I’d like to think that the vast majority of them are doing the right thing by everybody else.”
