A MAN is fighting for his life after being repeatedly stabbed during what police will allege was a large brawl outside a train station in Sydney’s southwest.
Officers raced to Edmondson Park Train Station about 3am after hearing reports of a large fight.
They arrived to find a wrecked Toyota Tarago and a number of injured people.
It is understood that a Range Rover smashed into the side of the Toyota Tarago during the course of the fight. A third vehicle arrived, with the occupants then joining the fight.

One man suffered a punctured lung and multiple stab wounds during the melee. He is currently undergoing surgery at Liverpool Hospital and his condition is unknown.
Another two men are also being treated at Liverpool Hospital for minor injuries.
The entirety of Solider Avenue was closed as police inspected the scene. Detectives were seen interviewing a male and a female witness while units from the Police Dog Squad scoured the area.
