A worker for a tree removal company was killed today after being accidentally drawn inside a woodchipping machine on Sydney’s north shore.
Samuela Cirivakayawa, 40, a Fijian national, had been working with two colleagues from Arbor Tree Group outside Cromehurst School on Kochia Lane, Lindfield, about 7am on Saturday.
The Sunday Telegraph has been told the men were cutting and mulching branches from a tall tree outside of the school when two of the workers attempted to find the owner of a car that needed to be moved.
