Man cut out of his crumpled car after serious head on collision in Sydney’s northwest
A MOTORIST has been charged following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s northwest overnight, which required a man to be cut out of his crumpled car.

A MAN has been charged following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s northwest overnight, which resulted in the drivers of both cars being taken to hospital.
The serious head on collision occured after a northbound Hyundai Tucson and a southbound Hyundai Getz crashed in the southbound lanes.
Emergency services were called to the crash site just outside the prestigious Kings School on Pennant Hills Road around 10pm Wednesday night.
The driver and sole occupant of the Getz, a 24-year-old man had to be cut out of his crumpled car in heavy rain, before being taken to Westmead Hospital with serious leg injuries.

The 58-year-old male driver of the Tuscon was also taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.
Officers commenced an investigation into the incident and arrested the 58-year-old Epping man after he was released from hospital.
He was taken to Parramatta Police Station where he was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He was given bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on 5 December 2018.
