The Padstow resident was rushed to Westmead Hospital with critical head injuries, but her life support was switched off yesterday.
High school friend Tayla Phillips said Ms Huang was a popular and generous person who would be sorely missed.
“Louisa would put everyone before herself,” she said.
“She sat next to me through classes and helped me. (She was) so happy.”
According to her social media accounts, Ms Huang had been studying medicinal chemistry at the University of NSW since 2013.
The two men aged 20 and 25 remain in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Traffic Command’s Brett Samuel said officers are investigating whether the car was driven through a red light.
