A Lone Wolf bikie member has faced court after police allege they found $1.5 million worth of ice, $110,000 in cash and a loaded pistol in a shoebox in a raid on a Sydney home.

A member of the Lone Wolf bikie gang has been charged with a series of drug and weapons offences after police allegedly uncovered $1.5 million worth of ‘ice’ at a home in Sydney’s south west.

Vincent Cusumano was arrested on Monday afternoon, three weeks after Criminal Groups Squad officers raided the Matavai St, Cobbity property on March 13.

Officers raided the home as part of an operation targeting the activities of criminal networks and allegedly uncovered a cache of contraband including 4.4kg of methylamphetamine, more than $110,000 in cash and a loaded pistol in a shoebox.

Two ballistic vests, ammunition, mobile phones, electronic storage devices and documentation were also seized.

Cusumano, 21, was nowhere to be found and on March 18 police made a public appeal to track down the man known to frequent the Central Coast.

Following extensive investigations he was arrested and refused bail at Surry Hills police station about 5pm on Monday.

The man police say is member of a notorious outlaw gang appeared briefly before Central Local Court on Tuesday by way of video link where his matter was adjourned for a bail application to be heard on April 21.

He was charged with an outstanding warrant for supply large commercial drug supply, supply a commercial quantity of drugs, possess unregistered firearm, two counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, not keep firearm safely, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.

There was no bail application and Magistrate Clare Farnan formally refused Cusumano’s release in court on Tuesday.
