Woman dies in a single vehicle rollover near Casino

A woman has lost her life after her vehicle left the road and rolled near Casino, in the state’s north. Here is what we know.

A woman has died following a crash in the state’s north.

Emergency services were called to Paddys Flat Road, Tabulam, about 9.40am on Wednesday following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Richmond Police District arrived to find a vehicle had left the roadway and rolled.

The driver, a woman aged in her 70s, was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

She is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
