‘What the f–k is that?’ UFO sighting shocks locals

THE object was “spinning, turning and tossing”, but then things got even weirder.

WITNESSES had their eyes to the sky when what they believe was an UFO put on a show over Nimbin for about 40 minutes in broad daylight on Wednesday afternoon.

Kaz Woodall was out walking her dog at about 4.15pm on Wednesday afternoon to meet a friend at the Nimbin showgrounds.

As she approached, Ms Woodall said her friend was pointing up to the sky toward the ridges of the mountain behind her.

"I could see a black ring high in the sky right above the mountain," Ms Woodall said.

"It was spinning, turning and tossing on its axis, so it wasn't actually moving through the sky.

"We were both like, 'what the f--k is that? I've never seen anything like this'.

"My friend said the UFO rose out of the mountain ridge, which is freaky."

The women found the showgrounds' caretaker, who grabbed his telescope, and all three of them took a closer look.

"We were in awe, but we weren't scared, it was a positive uplifting experience," Ms Woodall said.

"I still don't honestly know what it was, it defies all logic."

She said it was approximately 30 to 40 minutes into the encounter when things got really strange.

"It gradually moved directly over the top of us," she said.

"It stopped its turning and tumbling and was hovering straight over us so we could see the perfect doughnut ring."

She said after about 10 minutes, the UFO eventually, slowly, started tumbling again and slowly made its way off over the horizon.

Do you believe? Man shares strange encounter with UFO

Taking to social media to share her experience, Ms Woodall dispelled comments and suggestions the UFO was a drone or an escaped children's helium balloon.

"We stayed up most of the night researching drones and military craft," she said.

"One person said it was a children's helium party balloon that had escaped, but it wasn't that, I have eight children and it wasn't puffy like a balloon.

"I came across the article on the same sighting in New York which was exactly what we saw. "It's the only thing on the internet I could find that looked exactly like it our object, only our object interacted and was much slower in its behaviour.

"These experiences get us to open our minds and think a bit more and that's always a good thing."

She asked if anyone had a logical explanation for the UFO to please email her at kazwoodall@gmail.com.
