Tyrese Tighe, 20, bailed after being charged over alleged axe-wielding Casino home invasion

A Richmond Valley man who allegedly broke into a Casino home armed with an axe and threatened a man and a woman alongside two other men has been granted bail.
Tyrese Tighe, 20, faced Magistrate Michael Dakin in Casino Local Court on Thursday.
He has been charged with aggravated break and enter and committing a serious indictable violent offence and aggravated break and enter of a dwelling in company (stealing under $60000).
No pleas have been entered.
Police were called to a home invasion at a Hickey St, Casino home about 8.30pm on January 23.
Officers were told three people entered the premises and made threats with the axe before stealing various personal items.
Police arrested Tighe at a motel on Hare St and took him to Casino Police Station, where he was charged
Tighe was granted bail in the Casino court with strict conditions.
He was excused from attending his next scheduled court date on April 24.
Investigations into other persons of interest are continuing, according to NSW Police.
