Three people, one cat rescued after crash near Kyogle
Volunteer firefighters from the Rural Fire Brigade attended a car crash on Summerland Way near Kyogle, prompting a warning about the winding roads in the area.

This thought would have been running through the minds of the people who were involved in a single vehicle crash on Summerland Way at Dairy Flat north of Kyogle, around 4.30am on Sunday.
On social media, Woodenbong Rural Fire Brigade reported they had attended the early morning incident on May 30, 2021.
“Our brigade responded to a pre dawn call-out to an MVA (motor vehicle accident) on Summerland Way near the border gate,” the post said.
“A car left the road around 4.30am and three people were lucky to have no apparent injuries. “The three occupants (and a cat) were transported to hospital to be checked out to rule out any potential problems.
“Please be mindful of the winding roads around Woodenbong … they have caught out many a traveller.”
On Monday May 31, 2021, Ambulance NSW confirmed four road crews attend the incident,
They said one person was transported with injuries.
It is understood that paramedics had no need to treat the cat.
