The Loft will home deliver gourmet food and cocktails during lockdown

Beat the lockdown blues by getting home delivery from one of the regions’s best restaurants.

Manager of The Loft, Howard Johnson, will make a mean cocktail to be delivered to your door with takeaway food orders.

One of Lismore’s favourite restaurants was doing its bit to help beat the lockdown blues by delivering cocktails to your door, along with a three course meal.

The Loft helped locals through the last lockdown by offering takeaways, and this time, they’ve upped the ante by offering to bring their delicious food, and drinks, to your door.

An award-winning restaurant, The Loft offers contactless delivery of any order over $40, from Wednesday.

On social media, staff said: “Lockdown doesn’t give a sh--te about your birthday, anniversary or special milestone, but we do!”.

To mark those special occasions, you can take advantage of the restaurant’s three course deal for $45, that’s $20 less than if you’re dining in-house.

On the menu is the popular slow cooked lamb, Roku Gin Cured Ocean Trout, and chocolate fondant.

Staff also teased they were working on some “killer takeaway cocktails and wine specials too”.

With the restaurant’s cocktail maestro Howard Johnson behind the bar, they’re sure to be a treat – Southsides, margaritas, and campfire espressos are on the menu, and will be delivered in a takeaway bottle for just $13 each.

Fans are jumping at the chance to have a gourmet experience at home during lockdown, so the advice was to get in quick and book your delivery timeslot before they’re all gone.

Takeaway options include walk-in, drive-by and now “no-contact delivery” for orders of more than $40, within a 5km radius.

“Delivery fees outside of the 5km radius will be calculated with consideration of the purchase amount and at our discretion. Pick-up and delivery slots available Wednesday to Saturday nights 5:30-7:30 (unless special arrangements are made with staff).”
