With a former Wallaby on the team, is Lennox Head unbeatable?

Lismore Rugby Union Club will travel to take on the reigning premiers, the seemingly unbeatable Lennox Head, in four divisions on Saturday.

As round four looms this weekend for the clubs in the Far North Coast Rugby Union competition, one club has announced its aim was to topple Lennox Head.

Lismore Rugby Union Club president, Peter Everingham, said a home game at Lennox Head taking in the Trojans was always a tough proposition.

“We have our U18s, then the second grade men, the women’s 10 then first grade against Lennox Head, they are the team to beat,” he said.

“Not only are they last year’s premiers, they have former Wallaby Berrick Barnes. They’ll be hard to beat.

“But we will front up and give it all we have.”
