LENNOX Head Bowls and Sports Club will close its doors next Monday.
The closure was forced by "years of unsustainable losses totalling millions of dollars" according to Ramsgate RSL Memorial Club chief executive, Phillip Bragg.
The Lennox Head club amalgamated with the Ramsgate RSL six years ago.
The Ramsgate Board has released a statement to staff and members saying that it "reluctantly decided to cease operations at Lennox Head Bowling Club, which has about 1,800 members, on Monday November 12 2012 after continuing losses".
Club manager, David Clark, confirmed that a members meeting had been called for tomorrow.
